Blazers fall to the Nets........ lose 3 in a row

The Blazers just can't buy a basket when it comes to the 4th quarter. The Blazers fell short to the New Jersey Nets Sunday, making their record 8-8. Once again, the Blazers looked very sharp at the half, but afterwards, things got ugly.

"We're at a tough point right now," said Brandon Roy, who finished with 21 points, four assists and four rebounds. "It's a young season. We've lost three games in a row and we're .500, so it's a difficult time. But we have to stick together and really see what we're made of."

The Blazers play the 76ers on Wednesday, then the Celtics on Saturday, and then the Wizards on Sunday. The Blazers NEED to take at least two of the three games in order to keep playoff hopes up. Rebounding and interior defense still seems to be a major problem, so we either pray that Pryzibilla plays as everyone expects (10 boards per game) or try to get another decent and young post player.
