Blazers shooting slump continues as they lose 2 in a row at home

The Trail Blazers' offense has been terrible. They have not shot over 40% in the past 3 games and scoring an average of 85 points. Brandon Roy, who did not play for the last week, came back today and actually played well. He scored 27 points and added 4 assists, but this wasn't enough. The Blazers had a great start with 33 points, but ended up with 54 for the rest of the game. Defense wise, the Blazers have been holding opponents down. The only problem is that they can not make any shots they take. They even missed 2 dunks in today's game (Batum and Aldridge.

"We're not knocking down any shots, it's as simple as that," McMillan said.

Many Blazer fans, including myself, have been frustrated by the fact that the Blazers cannot win games against teams above .500. Yet we all have to realize that it is the beginning of the season. Roy is back in good shape and shots should fall as the season progresses.

The Blazers hit the road for 5 games in the East, and they should be able to pull off wins against 4 teams. It would be great to see the Blazers have a 4-1 record this road trip and head to the west, where they will play many of the Western playoff teams.
